My middle daughter donates breast milk to NICUs and periodically sells it to mom's who will trade baby items for it. There is a couple that have recently taken custody of their grand baby who is in the NICU and reacting to dairy & soy formula. The baby's mother was on drugs during the pregnancy and left baby at the hospital. My daughter is planning to feed the baby with donations of her already dairy- and soy-free milk for it's entire stay in the NICU. Some days, I love humanity so very much 🥹
