Last night, I bartended at a private event, and a guest asked for a surprise drink. Before even trying it, he sarcastically questioned, “What’s so special about this?” I calmly said, “Sir, just try it.” He then shared his bartending experience , offering unsolicited advice on improving my skills. Later, he returned with an empty glass, praising the drink and asking for details. I told him I call it “The PhD,” explaining I’m graduating with mine in May. His attitude changed after that.
