Salvation is not earned. It is a gift to be embraced. James 2:20 states, faith without works is dead It’s not saying your works save you, but that you need evidence of your faith. Scripture also says that the devil and demons acknowledge that Christ is Lord, so that alone cannot save us but living how Christ taught us to live is what shows that we have real faith.
