Despite what the wellness “gurus” tell you… Taking hydration supplements when you’re not dehydrated or haven’t lost electrolytes can do more harm than good. It’s best to hydrate with water and foods rich in sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Save supplements for when you're truly dehydrated or have lost a lot of fluids via sweat.
Overconsumption of electrolytes can disrupt fluid balance just as much as a deficiency and lead to complications.⬇️
