Sometimes, I regret being so nice. It’s not that I don’t want to help others, but there are moments when my kindness feels like a burden. People start expecting it, assuming I’ll always be there no matter what. I give and give, yet rarely receive the same consideration in return. It’s exhausting, and I wonder if being a little less nice would make people value my time and effort more.
