I'm not sure what app this is specifically, but I found using apps catered to specific interests helps conversation flow better right from the get go 🫶 (for example, I used one called Turn Up, which catered to music lovers, to find my current boyfriend) also, I personally feel uncomfortable when someone calls me pretty/beautiful/hot/etc right from the first message, as it feels unnatural and vain if that makes sense?
