I deep belly laughed at this. Is this fragile male ego or queen of "get on my level"? Either way, here for it!

I do agree this looks real silly, and short men who are mad about being shorter than women are wildly misogynistic, but the limited TV production training I've had makes me think this was more to achieve a similar eyeline for a close cropped camera. I'm tall and will duck when interviewing someone shorter on camera so their face isn't at a weird angle on tape.

My only thought being "holy shit, they sell HiChew by the bucket now??"
