What do you mean with fake? Politeness is politeness. Either you do or you don’t.

Yes, in some situations, such as, at work, people give compliments like jättebra! jätteduktig! but they don't really mean it. Swedish people are kind to help refugees and immigrants but they don't see those people as equal. They never show that they look down on people from poor countries but they judge people from poor countries as uneducated and have to work unskilled jobs regardless of qualifications. Then language barrier is brought up to justify this bias.
