I keep seeing people sharing thoughts like “$800 car payment is irresponsible” “paying more than $2500 a month for rent is insane” but we’re still not discussing how the google says the average cost of raising a child per year is $20,000+ (it’s more we know that). I can get rid of a car I can’t afford, I can’t send a kid back. Normalize waiting to have kids (or not having anymore) until you’re financially secure & available.
