At a networking event, watched an older man approach a gal, his first move was to touch her arm and start chatting as if they knew each other. Alarm bells quickly went off as I watched her body language so I swooped in and asked questions about her hometown. He walked away, she did NOT know him and was grateful. But then I started chatting w/ someone else, he came back. 🚩 I asked when her dinner reservations started. We were able to walk out together and girlies, look out for each other. 💙🙏🏼

21 小時內	KXT kxt536	I don’t know if it applies here, but in some cultures, mine included, a polite and respectful way to approach a stranger, irrespective of age or gender, if you approach them from behind or the side, is to touch their outer arm between shoulder and elbow with your index or middle finger alone and bow looking at the ground, then lift your eyes when they acknowledge you. Just saying.
