Why don’t I ever feel my muscles doing lat pull downs. I feel like I can’t pull w my back nor activate it 😭

Try thinking about pulling with your armpits and not your arms. It engages the lays quicker.

Try this next time these are my fav cue’s. - dont use your thumbs (hook grip all back workouts) - mentally pull with your elbows not your arms drive your elbows towards your hips and squeeze your back on the bottom portion of the rep like your trying to hold a marker inbetween the center on your back. - pick a weight you can control but not light, something you can rep 15-20 times would be great.

either you’re pulling more with your arms therefore targeting the secondary muscle which is your biceps, or you’re gripping the bar too close about shoulder width, use little weight or maybe pullin the bar to almost below your breast. To maintain proper form, you wanna sit with your back straight, chest out and shoulders down. Maintain a slight lean back, and as you pull the bar down, focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together. 💪🏿
