Talking to someone smarter than you in a subject matter is not only a beautiful and fascinating experience….it makes you better in minutes. The problem is, so few people are incapable of admitting the former….they’ll never experience the latter.

I've adopted JPs rule of thumb - listen as if the person who is speaking knows something you don't - this includes my children and grandchildren! My 9 year old grandson has taught me things I would have never known had I not engaged with him this way it also builds his confidence when I am humble enough to tell him wow I didn't know that! ❤️ So many aha moments when living this principle out and the result is also deeper connections .
