Today has been rough. Parenting aging parents sucks. Navigating family strife sucks. Staring at the calendar wondering how badly the Boeing layoffs are going to hit us - not just the shop, but my family and our shop community. The machinists’ strike is already hitting families hard, and I wish we had something else we could do. And. And. And. It seems overwhelming today. I cried while unpacking yarn. But tomorrow is a new day. And I’ll go back in and find a way to help.
