I think art school is probably really good idea or a few classes at least cause I never went to art school and I found that I didn't have discipline on basic things and mostly didnt finish works well. Also working with other artist helps even though later on when your alone alot you can remember or have a sence of the time you had community. I think I wasted 10 years on just bad habits that I could've learned in a month.
