She plays volleyball at San Jose State and was outed as trans by her teammate - another teammate supported other schools forfeiting their games because of her inclusion and, professional transphobe, Riley Gaines is piling on. Four universities have forfeited their games this season. Some critics use the excuse that they don't know when she transitioned as an excuse for hatred. To these transphobes, I want to say; we don't owe anyone anything - that includes our journey.
