Web devs that build websites using Wordpress - do you give your client a profile with admin access? My thought is if they paid for me to make them a website (no recurring maintenance involved) then that’s their website and they have full ownership. I’ve been pretty surprised to interact with clients who don’t even have access to make changes on their site.

11 小時內	Kindsay Dow kindsayd_designs	Absolutely! Once the project is done, I give them a quick run through of how to do any minor changes (like swap a photo or edit a copy block) and then they have full access.
17 小時內	my.devjourney	Yes, we definitely give them full access to their site. Even super admin if they're on a multisite install. But we also tell them about risks of suddenly updating anything outside of our process. It's their site. They should have full access.
