Don’t do it. Once you get use to it, you will find traveling with others inconvenient. 🤭 Joking aside, it’s awesome. I started slowly to nearby countries that are “familiar” and processes are uncomplicated for my weak passport. I went further and further as I got more comfortable. I would say discern the level of risk you are comfortable with and plan and behave accordingly.
