I’m admittedly not too well-versed (in to fantasy, just never landed much in Tolkien’s world) but I watch/discuss with friends some of whom are very knowledgeable and another whose kinda in the middle. It’s actually created unique perspectives cause we view it through various lenses, and most of them will fill me in if my interpretations are way off, or if I’m too critical because I’m missing on understanding something. I intended to try to go through it all before S1 but just never found time.
