I spent some time with some Droughtmaster cows yesterday, but on my drive to uni I passed a cattle truck full of Droughtmaster bovines (I’ll call them bovines because the term cattle seems objectifying imo) heading to the slaughterhouse and on my way home from uni I passed an empty cattle truck returning from the slaughterhouse. I see this almost every time I drive to uni and it breaks my heart 💔
