I went to my sisters high school 10 years later as well and they just started implementing this system during my senior year. Everyone just collectively said “no” and we completely stopped even asking as a courtesy. We started just leaving class whenever we had to go because like… there’s already aids posted up in every breezeway, tf were we gonna do? Even the teachers said “Yeah, this is stupid. You guys don’t even need to ask anymore, just go. It makes it easier for everyone.”
