I heard it happens when you’re a grandparent

apparently never and don’t get sick either it’s hell I’m running off of a hour of sleep max with an EXCRUCIATING HEADACHE 😭

It ebbs and flows. It’s never easy but some days are smooth sailing and others you’re in the eye of the storm but you do come out the other side. When they become more independent, it’s easier because they rely on you less but even when they are adults it’s never easy just different.

To me it felt easier once I got a consistent schedule

Trust me. You’re not alone. That was my thought the first few months after our daughter’s birth. But strangely enough, she’s now 2 and we just welcomed our second and it was such a better adjustment. Your “independence” definitely looks different but life is redefined. I encourage you to focus on the fact that you are a mom. Your body did something amazing. God blessed you with the opportunity to become a mom. Let the emotions come. Acknowledge the “hard”. Motherhood is definitely not easy. 👇🏾
