I knew since I was 16 that I did not want children and was told the same things as you. Never had a doubt about it. Never had an issue finding a partner. My family could not care less and even if they did, I wouldn’t. Also my brother never wanted children. Better childless than making a child as an insurance for the future as many do in our society
