My Dad told me that I was the reason my step mom killed herself and that was why I wasn’t allowed to go to her funeral- her family blamed me. I was in high school at the time. Then in college he sent me an email telling me I ruined my brother’s life by choosing for us to live with my Mom instead of him as kids.

I told my mom the man she trusted to be my 2 younger siblings and I's guardian because she was too overwhelmed to care for us while my stepdad was dying from Lugering's (ALS) disease, graped me and them multiple times for months on end. We got placed in foster care because of it. She replied "when I was younger the same thing happened to me"

Where do I begin, it’s my WHOLE family not just Mum! Met hubby at 35, he’d been married before with kids- she says why would u want somebody else’s trash! Got pregnant FINALLY ( naturally) at 42- you’re too old to have a baby! Stupid! Got engaged- you can pay for your own wedding cos ur too old to get married (had paid for 2 sisters weddings! We eloped! Got uninvited from the nephews wedding last year- whole family tells family/everyone at the wedding we said we wouldn’t attend! Ok..bye! 🤬

Telling the police to not believe me because I was crazy when they were taking my dad away. Lol. Telling me that god would cure my autism. Lol. Telling me that I use my disability as an excuse to do nothing. Lol. There's more. Many, many more. She was cruel but those three... those three were the times we stopped talking. And I hope I never falter again. The thing is... those aren't even the cruelest things she ever said to me. They were just the last straws.
