2007-2015: I wonder what rich people do to own huge homes (*shrugs* it off never asks) 2016: I want to try investing but maybe I shouldn’t because good people are humble and settle for what they have. 2017: I’ll just invest a little and see what happens; starts investing more shortly after. 2018-2020: Continues investing on auto-pilot and doesn’t think about it more. 2021: Wow, I survived my first big market crash (2020) and portfolio grew way more!
