As fans we don’t get a vote on what the producers and writers ultimately serve up to us. That’s the thing with art. It’s not yours. You take it or leave it. I’m happy with oddity episodes but if I wasn’t Star Trek doesn’t owe me an explanation. I’m a writer of several sci fi novels and though I love reader feedback I’d be diluting my work if I took requests.

Did any of these fans ever watch the original series?!?! It’s one oddity after another. I have watched Star Trek and all the various spinoffs for over 50 years and Strange New Worlds harkens back to the original better than any of them, especially Subspace Rhapsody, an episode I absolutely loved!
