Great advice from everyone here. Most importantly, spend some time with several dogs at the shelter or rescue, go back and visit/ walk them to learn more about their energy level. No dog is wrong just simply not every one fits every person’s lifestyle and it would be unfair to the dog and the person if was a mismatch also they aren’t fully able to reveal who they are in shelter life due to the transitory environment so spending time with them would help them and you a great deal 😇
