I read LOTR every summer holiday age 11 to 18 and a few times since. GX50 Hoovered up the radio 4 adaptation and we purchased the cd discs. Nearly lost my mind over the proper film version coming and all hail Peter Jackson for his commitment to it. One of my most fondest memories of my dear father was me, him and mum going to watch them the minute they were released at our local cinema.
