In this economy, some people can only afford the service. The fact she keeps coming to you to get fill ins lets you know she loves your work. 

I have clients like that but I just learned to accept they are cheap 😂 but they come to me consistently so that’s the good thing

I always add the "tip" to my prices so i don't feel bad when they don't 🤷🏼‍♀️🤍 now i understand when they say "charge your worth then add tax" lol

i wouldn’t take it personal. i have a few regulars (2+ years) who have never tipped but on the other end, i have those that tip imo a little too much. i’ve learned to charge my worth so i don’t rely on tips but they’re definitely appreciated when received. i also don’t treat any client differently and always try to provide them with the best service.

I have clients who don’t tip me in money. I do bartering as well. If you wanna pay me in concert tickets, food, cannabis, I definitely allow that of course I charge a base price, but I also include music food drinks TV, cannabis to those who smoke, I give discounts if I mess up, reschedule and almost all of the clients that I have come back to me because I care about them personally. They work a lot. I have to make sure that they eat something that they’re rested, cared for, It goes a long way.

Because tips have got to stop. Just charge what you want to be paid. I have given up a lot of services because I am tired of being shamed to pay above and beyond the listed price. We are all broke.

My lash fills and sets are price that if they don’t tip me I’m fine

I dated someone who thought $3 was sufficient tip, regardless of the total cost of the meal at a sit down restaurant. Idk if some people are ignorant to tipping customs or if they are just selfish and do not care.

I truly don’t care if I don’t get tipped. When I am, of course I am full of gratitude but as an independent nail tech, I have priced my services accordingly. A tip is not required. 99% off my clients tip but I do have a few loyal girlies who don’t and it never bothers me. I came into the beauty industry because I’m extremely passionate about what I do and a tip is the least of my worries honestly ✨
