Why is getting to the airport in NYC the most annoying out of any city in America? We have three airports (JFK, LGA, EWR). I live in lower manhattan. Public transit to any three takes about 1.5 hours, and requires at least one transfer. Why not uber? Because it costs you about $50-$100 and I cannot comprehend throwing away that much money on a 10 mile car ride. Meanwhile, when I land in whatever city I’m visiting. Uber is no more than $25, & sometimes theres a public transit option to downtown.
