Our family friend has been in a sales position for the same company for 20 years. Most recently they changed the whole dynamic of the company and hired a new manager that previously worked for a gym and has no direct sales experience. So now his direct manager knows little to nothing about the job (selling industrial tools) and our family friend is just scratching his head as to how this new person got hired. Moral of the story…a lot of companies are trying to save money in any way possible. 😖
