Am I the only one who particularly dislikes the star rating system? It’s so subjective it’s practically useless in actually conveying whether you as a reader will enjoy a book or not. Which should be its main function in reader-to-reader reviews I think? Professional (there is a difference between being paid for a review and being a professional) literary critics is a whole different thing.
