Today marks the 40th anniversary of the martyrdom of Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko. Pictures are the first class relic on the main altar of St. John Paul II Shrine of Divine Mercy in Salem, Massachusetts, his gravesite outside St. Stanislaus Kostka church in Warsaw, Poland and a mural on the church in his honor.
