Here in my 70s, I am surprised at how I am changing. For example, I used to relish the popular music of the 60s — garage bands, soul, the British Invasion, etc. But now it sounds shallow, even annoying. Now I listen almost exclusively to Classical music and old hymns. I think I’m getting ready to die. Not any time soon, as far as I know! But I think God is gently, slowly getting me ready. I’m going deeper with Him. And it’s about time! Grateful.
