I have this debate every year. I cook for days, and then have maintains of dishes. But the guilt of not using the China my mother in law bought me always wins. She won’t be around to share holidays with us forever. So for as long as we have her I’ll use my China 💕.

In my family disposable plates and cutlery is a must at all the major holidays summer fall winter there are a solid 35-40 people who attend bbqs 4th of July thanksgiving Christmas Easter you name it it’s all a team effort and everyone puts their agreed upon funds into the event and we all go to the house chosen to host each event
