Try that with critical infrastructure that needs to be fast, with OS things or even with games, I don't see a lot of C projects that could be done in other languages (for instance I've never seen a web backend made in C or C++ C and C++ are also more energy efficient, cost efficient (while running), scalable and the fixed typings are safer too (take type juggling or nosql injection as example)
