@billmaher said it was ageist to claim 80 year olds were too old to run gov't, but recently praised the under 25 year olds who were our founding members. Majority were under 40. Is it too much to believe we should be closer to the age that identifies with the youth, but is old enough to listen to elders? The laws put in place by older people, as @davidmileshogg explained, won't be consequential to them.
