Doing genealogy snd reading obituariee sometimes feels strange when I realize how few I'll be mentioned in as a survivor. My 3 grandparents who have passed didn't have me listed - although 1 great-grandparent did. I have no spouse, no kids. My dad prob will request not to list me. My childless aunts and uncles won't have me listed. It's ok - there's no real closeness, so it makes sense. It's just that sometimes I wonder how quickly I'll be lost to history
