I open my albums and put take the Photocards out but I put everything else back in it (except stickers I guess. I have a reusable sticker book for those). Then I put the albums in a protective bag if the album doesn’t shut right again. If they are fine without the bag then I just stick them on my shelf. Do whatever you want though. Don’t let people make you feel bad for how you want to collect.
