Every fall is difficult for me because I lost my grandmother around Halloween, and three of my former cats died in October and November as well. Not to mention it gets dark in Norway around 6 pm this time of year, and the sun sets earlier every day. The body definitely remembers. Maybe you can try to do something else cozy and good for your mental health in the same time period, like go for a walk, and slowly switch your body’s expectations.
