My quadrilogy is about someone who somewhat tries to create that on a smaller scale, and has a young man inherit &take over what she created. I'm with you on the post-capitalist setting being a very interesting angle to tackle. I'm just working more in the now/past than the future. I have visions for a 5th book in the series that would enlarge the picture significantly and maybe take place today to 5 years ahead, but I'm not sure if I'll take it on, or move on to a completely different book.
