You have dunes all along the coast from silver lake to Sleeping Bear, forests inland separated by farmland, and overall not too many people here. It's a great spot. Anyone that says "West Michigan" is wrong. I grew up in "West Michigan" and that basically includes everything in the LP west of lansing
