@senatorthorpe does not owe anyone civility in the face of Australia’s continued oppression of its Indigenous peoples. No treaty has been offered from the Crown and no movement has occurred federally since the Voice loss last year. Thorpe was right on the money, she knew it was an exercise in playing by colonial rules. She is the most courageous politician I have seen in a long time. She shows spine and will not kowtow to foolish pomp and spectacle.
