Did y’all know tamales were an indigenous invention? Because they totally were. My people and other mesoamerican nations have been eating them for 1000’s of years. This tamale season (a lot of Latine people eat tamales around Christmas time) give thanks to the indigenous people who brought these tasty little corn and meat hot pockets into the world.
