Ok fine, my hot take on celeb books: i don't really mind them. I think there are other structural issues in publishing that are more pressing, including author pay, marketing favouring white/cis/able-bodied etc authors and the threat of AI, esp for illustrators...and the existence of celeb authors isnt the cause of any of those.
