The gen ed art classes are easy..even for people studying and majoring in art. Get into the upper level art courses and you’d cry all the same. The assignments were insanely detailed and would take hours on end at home. 😭

I have a BFA and every single one of my art classes were 4 hours long. Sometimes pulling 12 hr days + hours in studio time and homework. Drawing was 6 courses, 2D design 2 courses, painting 6 + courses, 3D design 2 courses, graphic design 2 courses, art history 6 courses. + specialized elective courses, creating a body of work for a graduating show. + gen ed courses. Courses available to you as an elective are lightweight because it is not your focus. The equivalent of me taking Bio 101 😅
