I think there's an argument floating around how it's an integral part of romance. While I agree to an extent, since that's what most of us got started on when we first fell in love with romance books. But after a while it has become such an eye roll moment for me. Because almost 95% of the time it's 100% preventable. If it's truly misunderstanding one another, fine, but usually it's like they assume wrongly and get hurt AND stop all communication. There's no missing anything there. 😂
