This is my zip code in a red suburb of blue Birmingham, y’all. Please remember that we live in gerrymandered districts with both active voter suppression AND a horribly run state Democratic Party. But lots of folks in our neighborhood do what we can from here: yard signs, organizing/events/fundraising, donating, post cards, phone banking, etc. I hope y’all remember this when making generalizations about Alabama!
