This morning I voted misty-eyed as I watched young kids accompany their parents to vote. I remember teaching my kids about voting, almost taking it for granted. I don’t anymore. Praying for our democracy. Praying for neighborliness and honest dialogue across difference. I am grateful to live in a country where I can vote, my vote counts, and every vote matters.
