Idk if this is radical or not but I don’t feel like anyone should be making less than $20 an hour regardless of what the job is

Agreed I was making $18.58 an hour in my most recent position. It was stressful as heck for sure underpaid for the daily workload expected of us. They decided I wasn’t good enough after 6 months besides the fact that I showed up every day, didn’t take time off even though I really needed to certain days. I had days where my mental health was off and I just couldn’t focus(feel like the trouble focusing cost me the position so I regret not using my sick days since in the end I lost them)

$17.50 feels fine for my part-time retail job.

A majority of the people at my work aren’t making $20; I just reached that after 6 years. But a multi million dollar company can’t afford to hire anyone else at a brand store they just built (or at any others). Uh huh, sure.
