Things are not easy for me right now. Finding a job is hard. I have around 1.5 years of experience as a developer. So I am still entry level. It seem like every entry level job I apply to wants 2+ years of experience. I have gotten lucky and gotten some interviews but I feel like I keep getting overlooked. It's like as soon as someone with 5+ years comes in, I am toast. I have no shot. I know i have value and I know I can do the job but how am I expected to compete with that?

Us juniors need to keep a roof over our head too and retail jobs don't pay enough. I feel stuck because it feels like no matter what I try, no one employer wants me. I want to work. I love programming and I wouldn't keep trying if it's something I didn't love. This feels like I am a rat who is just going to keep getting zapped no matter what I do. It has been 11 months of this hell.

18 小時內	Tyler - DadWritesCode dadwritescode	Some jobs Ive seen want 5yrs+. Depending on the tech skill, my experience varies 😂 (MySQL+ PHP is 10years, but Node, React is ~1yr) But I apply to them anyway, because, why not? :)
